Jamaal Akbar brings UT Martin a versatile, senior-season playmaker
Jamaal Akbar is a 6-foot-1, 195-pound senior WR for UT Martin who has been a productive, multi-role weapon, with career totals of 76 receptions for 1,091 yards and 8 touchdowns, plus return-game value that adds hidden yardage. In the 2025 season, ESPN lists him with 18 catches for 201 yards and a score, while UT Martin’s roster lists him as a veteran Cincinnati product out of Winton Woods. The real draw: he can help as a receiver and on special teams, giving a team toughness, experience, and flexibility.
