Cory Wells is Prairie View A&M’s versatile two-way engine
Cory Wells has emerged as a high-impact transfer for Prairie View A&M in the 2025-26 season, bringing size, rebounding, shot-blocking, and playmaking from the wing/forward spot. He was named SWAC Newcomer of the Week after a strong two-game stretch and has shown he can stuff the stat sheet, but his real value is his defensive enforcer mentality and ability to affect winning without needing the offense run through him. If you want a physical, multi-skilled forward who competes hard and raises the team’s floor, he fits.
