Xavier Subotsch gives App State a **steady punting edge**
Subotsch looks like a dependable, field-position-first punter for Appalachian State: in 2024 he allowed only 13 punt returns for 53 total return yards, hit a season-long 57-yard punt against Georgia Southern, and helped the Mountaineers finish **top 25 nationally** in a key special-teams metric. That profile suggests a low-drama, high-trust specialist who can flip the field and limit return damage, making him a fit for teams that value consistency, hang time, and hidden-yardage wins over pure flash.
