La Salle alum Laura Newhard is a program-built scorer with a classic grinder’s edge
Laura Newhard starred at Northampton before becoming a three-year captain at La Salle, and her profile screams toughness, leadership, and consistency rather than flash. Her high school résumé was elite — 2,237 career points, three league MVPs, and all-state recognition — and that kind of résumé usually translates to a player who brings competitive fire, doesn’t shrink in pressure moments, and raises the standard in the locker room. She’s the kind of forward coaches love when they want reliable leadership, intensity, and a winner’s mentality.
