Young Marshall DB with roster upside, but limited public stat track record
Siddeeq McNeal is a Marshall defensive back whose public profile suggests more development potential than proven production right now, so he’s the kind of player to watch for special-teams value, coverage upside, and coaching-room growth rather than headline stats. Marshall’s defense has needed playmakers in recent seasons, and McNeal’s fit will depend on whether he can carve out a reliable role in a secondary that has been asked to hold up under pressure. For a team, the appeal is an athletic, depth-friendly DB with room to rise; the caution is that available public data does not yet show a clear stat-driven breakout.
