High-Efficiency Guard with Untapped Intensity for Western Carolina
Miles McClure, a 6'5" Guard from Franklin, NC, stands out not for volume but for elite efficiency, posting a 60.0% field goal percentage while averaging 2.4 points per game in the 2025 season. His differentiator is a quiet, relentless intensity and a personality that thrives in high-pressure defensive spots, even if his assist and steal numbers (0.0) reflect a role as a specialist rather than a primary ball-handler. Though his career-high remains just 6 points (set in 2022), his 60% shooting suggests he capitalizes on every opportunity with precision. You should care because he offers a low-risk, high-reward fit for teams needing a disciplined, efficient scorer who doesn't need the ball to make a difference. He is an ideal fit for a team that values defensive grit and shooting accuracy over flashy playmaking.
