Nebraska's Freshman QB with Elite Accuracy and Old-School Intensity
TJ Lateef, the 6'1", 200-lb freshman quarterback from Compton, CA, delivered a standout 2025 season with 904 passing yards, 5 TDs, and only 1 INT, earning Big Ten Co-Freshman Player of the Week after a 13-of-15, 236-yard, 3-TD performance vs. UCLA. His differentiators include elite pass accuracy (13/15 in key game), old-school intensity, and the best PFF grade among Nebraska QBs in 2025. Though he started late (7 games, 4 starts), his calm demeanor under pressure and zero career interceptions signal high fit for teams needing a reliable, low-risk QB. No injury history reported; his intensity and precision make him a must-watch for 2026.
