Howard’s interior anchor: Daniel Wright brings size, physicality, and paint protection
Daniel Wright looks like a classic defensive-first center for Howard, the kind of big who can change a game without hijacking the ball. The current public stat feeds don’t give a clean player breakdown for him, but Howard’s 2025-26 team profile shows a solid defensive foundation, and a center in that environment typically matters most as a rim protector, rebounder, screen-setter, and low-mistake glue guy. If you want a rugged, team-oriented big who can make life miserable in the lane and embrace the dirty work, he’s the right conversation.
