Versatile linebacker-turned-coach with Liberty roots and special-teams edge
Dylan Lewellyn is a Liberty football alumnus who returned to the program and is now listed as the Flames’ Special Teams Coordinator, bringing firsthand system knowledge, continuity, and a player’s perspective to the staff. His differentiators are experience, familiarity with Liberty’s culture, and a likely emphasis on detail and physicality rather than headline-grabbing flash. Because the available sources identify him in a coaching role rather than as an active 2026 player, he should be viewed as a fit for teams that value development, toughness, and special-teams organization over raw recruiting buzz.
