Australian guard brings scoring flashes and pro-level experience
Watkinson is a 5'9" guard with Australian basketball experience who has shown real scoring upside, including 20- and 24-point NBL1 highlight games and a 22-point performance vs. Brisbane Capitals in 2021.[2][3][7] Mount St. Mary’s listed her as a freshman in 2019-20, when she appeared in 16 games and averaged 1.4 points, 0.6 rebounds, and 0.1 assists, so the profile suggests a player with deeper upside than her college stat line alone shows.[5] She looks like a fit for teams that value perimeter toughness, international seasoning, and a guard who can contribute when given a larger role.[3][4]
