Drake’s former QB-turned-WR Ian Corwin brings experience and versatility
Ian Corwin is an experienced Drake playmaker who transitioned from quarterback to wide receiver, giving him unusual football IQ, versatility, and an understanding of route timing and coverages that can help a receiver room. In 2023, he caught 4 passes for 28 yards and 2 touchdowns after throwing for 1,348 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2022, so the value is more about his adaptable skill set and competitive experience than eye-popping receiving volume. He looks like a smart, multi-use depth piece who can fit a team that values toughness, system knowledge, and flexibility over pure size-speed fireworks.
