Canaan Clayton brings bullpen length, size, and swing-and-miss upside to ULM
In the 2026 season, ULM right-hander Canaan Clayton has worked mostly out of the bullpen, making four appearances, logging 5.0 innings, going 1-0, and striking out seven batters, including four against Western Illinois in his season-high outing.[1][3] At 6-foot-6 and 250 pounds, he gives the Warhawks a big, power-profile arm whose value goes beyond the box score: he’s shown early ability to miss bats, handle leverage in short bursts, and bring a physical presence that can fit a staff looking for strike-throwing depth and late-inning punch.[1][5][6]
