In the 2025 season, Jax Leatherwood emerged as Southeast Missouri State’s first-year starter and quickly flashed a live arm, completing 92 of 139 passes for 1,064 yards and 7 touchdowns through four starts before adding a 422-yard game against No. 11 Southern Illinois.
