Houston Roots brings length and upside to Montana’s secondary
Roots is a 6-foot-2, 175-pound sophomore cornerback for Montana with intriguing size for the position and room to keep developing into a bigger role.[3] He also appears to be an enthusiastic, dream-driven fit in the program, which can matter for buy-in and growth as much as raw athletic traits.[1][5] At this stage, he profiles more as an upside defender than a proven stat-sheet star, so he stands out most for physical tools, development potential, and fit in a competitive FCS environment.[3][7]
