Ethan Dillinger brings swing-and-miss lefty upside and big-game poise for Air Force
In the 2026 season, Ethan Dillinger emerged as one of Air Force’s most important arms, finishing with a 1.13 ERA in Mountain West tournament play and earning All-Tournament Team honors after a first career complete game against New Mexico, when he allowed one run on two hits over eight innings with five strikeouts. The left-hander’s appeal is his competitiveness, starter’s stamina, and ability to rise in pressure spots; he also logged a team-second-best 40 strikeouts in 2025 and has steadily expanded his role from spot starter to trusted rotation piece.
