Experienced, disruptive Nebraska linebacker with turnover flair
Whaley gives Nebraska a proven linebacker presence with production that shows up in all the right places: 36 solo tackles, 1 sack, 3 forced fumbles and 1 interception in the available ESPN stat line[3][4]. At 6-foot-1 and 235 pounds, he profiles as a sturdy outside linebacker who can play with physicality and punch out the ball, which is a real differentiator for a defense looking for chaos creators[1][3]. Nebraska’s own coverage also points to him as a veteran presence, and that experience matters for fit if your team wants reliability, toughness, and a player who can make momentum-swinging plays[5][6].
