Reliable veteran kicker with Michigan State roots and special-teams value
Brett Scanlon brings veteran experience and a special-teams-first profile to Michigan State, with Michigan State’s roster listing him as a kicker who also handled kickoff duties and averaged 61.5 yards on 77 kickoffs with 25 touchbacks in the 2017 season. He stands out more for consistency, leg strength, and familiarity with the program than for headline-grabbing stats, and Michigan State’s feature on him highlights his longtime connection to the team and a steady, family-oriented presence. If you need a dependable specialist who understands the environment and can help field position, he fits the mold.
