Boise State’s high-leverage lefty who already looks built for big innings
McNamara has emerged in 2026 as a trusted Boise State arm, earning Mountain West Pitcher and Freshman of the Week after a dominant stretch that included 12 1/3 innings, a 2-0 record, two saves, and a 0.57 ERA.[2][7] Her standout traits are poise under pressure and bat-missing relief work—she escaped a late-game jam with strikeouts at Santa Clara and became the first Bronco in six years to save both ends of a doubleheader.[4][2] For teams needing a competitive, left-handed pitcher who can handle leverage, she looks like a strong fit.[1][2]
