Brett VandenBergh brings size and floor-stretching touch to NDSU’s frontcourt
VandenBergh is a 6-5 forward whose calling card early at North Dakota State was shooting: as a true freshman in 2012-13, he hit 43.2% from three while playing 32 games and starting seven, then sat out 2013-14 after knee surgery in the fall. His value is as a versatile, stretch-forward option who can space the floor, give you competent minutes, and has already shown he can handle a larger role in spurts. The big question for any team fit is durability, but the skill set is real and useful.[1][2]
