Jack Esquivel brings experienced, dual-threat quarterback depth to Merrimack
Esquivel is a veteran QB with real game reps, including a career-high 203 passing yards against LIU in the 2021 spring season and 293 passing yards with 3 TDs in Merrimack’s 2020 stats ledger, so he’s not just a name on a roster. His value is experience, composure, and familiarity with the program after multiple seasons in the system; the tradeoff is that he has not profile-wise been a high-volume, high-ceiling production machine. If your team wants a steady, seasoned quarterback who can manage a game and isn’t afraid of pressure, he’s worth a hard look.
