Sacred Heart’s durable run-producing INF with gap power and big-game reliability
In the 2026 season, Cierra Bender was one of Sacred Heart’s most dependable bats, starting all 54 games, hitting .280 with 51 hits, 16 doubles, 3 home runs and 26+ RBIs, while also ranking among the Pioneers’ leaders in runs and extra-base damage. She brings a steady, high-usage middle-of-the-order profile, with enough bat-to-ball skill to keep rallies alive and enough gap power to punish mistakes. The best part: she’s the kind of infielder coaches love—durable, productive, and battle-tested in pressure spots.
