Ballhawk in the Jayhawks’ secondary
Remuise Johnson brings proven ball production and veteran cornerback instincts to Kansas: in the 2002 season, he led the Jayhawks with 6 interceptions, a total that also tied for third on the program’s single-season list. He was a first-team All-Jayhawk Conference pick at Garden City CC after 9 interceptions and 19 pass breakups in two seasons, which tells you the hands, anticipation, and quick trigger are real. At 5-foot-8, he plays like an undersized disruptor rather than a passive cover guy—ideal if you want a feisty, turnover-hunting defensive back who can punch above his frame.
