Ana Valtierra brings steady playmaking and disruptive defense for UTEP
Ana Valtierra has a track record of being a high-IQ guard who can create offense and pressure the ball, highlighted by her assist production and steal-heavy impact in UTEP’s system[1][2]. In Conference USA play, she has shown the ability to hit from deep, score efficiently, and contribute as a facilitator, which makes her more valuable than a box-score-only guard[1][2]. The bigger fit question is whether a team wants a tough, possession-driving guard who can influence the game without needing dominant usage; that profile makes her a strong glue-piece type of addition[1][4].
