Scotland's Rebounding Force for Maine Black Bears
Alasdair Fraser, the gritty 6'7" Scottish big man, powered the 2011-12 Maine Black Bears with 12.9 PPG, 7.8 RPG, and 31.4 MPG, earning America East All-Third Team honors amid a tough 12-17 season—earlier flashing a 19-point, 12-rebound double-double. His relentless intensity, shot-blocking (1.1 BPG in limited minutes), and international pedigree make him a differentiated post presence who thrives under pressure; a proven leader ideal for teams needing tough, efficient frontcourt muscle post his 2013 graduation.
