Zak Warner’s story is built on grit, leadership, and reliability at long snapper
Zak Warner was listed as Western Carolina’s senior long snapper in the 2010 season, and the available coverage shows more than just a specialist profile: he was a team captain and a walk-on who earned a scholarship, which speaks to trust, consistency, and buy-in from coaches. That kind of résumé matters for any roster hunting stability in the kicking game. The stat sheet won’t dazzle here, but his differentiators are toughness, leadership, and the kind of behind-the-scenes dependability coaches love in a snapper.
