George Ellis III brings veteran TCU size, toughness, and academic-grade consistency to the front line
George Ellis III is a veteran TCU defensive lineman with NFL-style size at 6-2, 290 pounds and a long résumé that includes a successful 2023 Pro Day showing 22 bench reps, a 22-inch vertical, and an 8-foot-8 broad jump. In the 2023 season context, his value was less about splashy stats and more about power, leverage, and reliability—plus the kind of disciplined, team-first profile coaches love. He also earned 2022 First-Team Academic All-Big 12 honors, which says plenty about his maturity and football IQ. If you need a sturdy, high-character interior presence, he fits the bill.
