Maryland's Throwback Fullback with Nasty Edge and Special Teams Fire
Cory Jackson, Maryland's 6-1, 246-lb fullback (4th-year senior), stands out as a hard-nosed, one-dimensional lead blocker who jolts defenders with a nasty attitude, finishes blocks physically, and excels on special teams—earning a Pos. Rank of 5 and 7th Round-FA grade in NFL scouting reports. His vision removes opponents inside, making him a reliable short-yardage asset, though he needs to sharpen block details to create edges. Ideal for teams craving intensity and grit over flash; a special teams ace with NFL roster upside.
