Veteran Howard QB with leadership chops and proven program familiarity
Petricca is a seasoned Howard quarterback whose value goes beyond box-score stats: Howard listed him as a redshirt sophomore in 2018, and earlier roster history shows he has been in the program since 2016, which usually means a player who knows the offense, the culture, and how to handle a huddle[2][6]. He was also recognized as a 2018 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team nominee for off-field impact, a strong signal of character and team-first credibility[5]. For a team needing maturity, steadiness, and an experienced presence rather than raw flash, he looks like a fit[2][5][7].
