steady veteran guard who could run a team
Melissa Frase was a dependable UMass Lowell guard who brought backcourt poise, passing touch, and enough scoring pop to matter in the 2015-16 season, when she was listed as a senior at 5'7" and had already shown she could contribute as both a scorer and facilitator. Her value wasn’t just box-score stuff: the notes and game recaps point to a player trusted in the offense, with multiple double-digit scoring games and assist production that helped stabilize the River Hawks. If you want a composed, experienced guard with leadership chops and a team-first feel, she fits that mold.
