Harvard’s steady leg: Cali Canaval brings proven range and clutch value
Cali Canaval was a reliable special-teams piece for Harvard in the 2023 season, going 7-for-9 on field goals with a long of 43 yards and handling kickoffs with 25 touchbacks on 59 kicks. His calling card is poise: he delivered multiple timely kicks in Harvard’s big 2023 wins, including a career-long 43-yarder against St. Thomas and a game-tying 19-yard field goal in triple overtime vs. Penn. For a team that wants a kicker who has already shown he can handle pressure, Canaval looks like a calm, game-shaping fit.
