Aidan Maddox brings length, edge-setting upside to UT Martin’s linebacker room
A 6-foot-4, 225-pound freshman linebacker from Dallas, Georgia, Maddox is worth watching because his high-school résumé points to a disruptive, high-motor defender: 179 career tackles, 28 sacks, 42.5 tackles for loss, and Region Defensive Player of the Year honors as a senior. At UT Martin in 2024, he played in six games mainly on special teams and did not record statistics, so the upside is still projection-based rather than production-based.
