Elite CFL Linebacker with North Texas Pedigree
Former University of North Texas standout who became a dominant force in the CFL as a linebacker for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and BC Lions (2006-2010). Knowlton was a tackling machine and ball-hawk—recording 310 career tackles, 12 interceptions, and 8 sacks across 86 games. His 2010 season was exceptional: 71 tackles, 4 forced fumbles (tied for league lead), and 6 fumble returns (league lead), earning him the James P. McCaffrey Trophy as CFL Defensive Player of the Year. A three-time CFL All-Star known for his instinctive play-reading and versatility in coverage, Knowlton represents the kind of high-motor, productive defender who impacts games beyond the stat sheet.
