Joshua Stoneking is a wrecking ball off the edge for Furman
Stoneking enters the 2026 season as one of the FCS’s most disruptive defensive ends after a 2025 breakout in which he led the nation with 14.5 sacks and 23.0 tackles for loss, earned first-team All-American recognition, and was a Buck Buchanan Award runner-up. His calling card is burst-to-power edge play with real finishing ability, and he’s more than a pure sack artist—he also showed range with 79 tackles, nine quarterback hurries, two forced fumbles, two pass breakups, and a blocked kick. If a team wants a high-motor, game-wrecking pass rusher, he’s a very good fit.
