SaRodorick Thompson Jr. — Tough, Reliable Texas Tech Power Back with NFL-Ready Burst
Thompson is a sturdy, downhill runner who brings red-zone finishing ability, enough burst to pop chunk plays, and a reputation for working through contact; at Texas Tech he piled up 2,664 rushing yards and 40 touchdowns from 2018-2022, with five 100-yard games in his career and multiple long TD runs showing he can punish defenses when he gets into rhythm.[3][7] He is best viewed as a physical depth-piece or committee back: productive, experienced, and competitive, but not a pure speed merchant, as his combine 40-yard dash was 4.67 seconds.[9]
