Butler’s hard-throwing righty with upside, but still seeking consistency
Aidan Hatcher is a **6'1", 170-pound right-handed pitcher** at Butler whose profile has long been built around arm strength and upside, with Perfect Game noting a fastball that reached **92 mph** during his prep development and showed measurable velocity gains over time[2]. In Butler’s 2026 stats, he has worked in limited innings and has struggled to convert stuff into results, so his appeal is less about polished production right now and more about projection, competitiveness, and the possibility of a jump if his command tightens up[3][8].
