Gabe Maya is a bullpen lefty with scoreless-innings upside for Pepperdine
In the 2026 season, Gabe Maya has shown he can be a useful left-handed bullpen piece for Pepperdine, including a 1.2-inning scoreless outing against Gonzaga and a clean appearance in relief versus Cal Poly. The stat line is still small, but the differentiator is his ability to hold the game in place when called on — a useful trait for a matchup lefty. If your team wants a gritty southpaw who can attack in relief and compete in pressure spots, Maya fits the bill; if you need a high-volume, established strikeout arm, he’s still building that résumé.
