James Pruitt gives Mississippi Valley State a steady backcourt presence
James Pruitt is a guard for Mississippi Valley State, but the available public data is thin on current 2026 production, so the clean read is that he profiles as a roster piece to watch rather than a proven stat-leader. ESPN lists him as a Delta Devils guard from Decatur, Alabama, and the program’s roster confirms he is on the 2026-27 team. If you’re evaluating fit, the appeal is simple: he’s part of a rebuilding mid-major backcourt where minutes can be earned quickly, but there isn’t enough verified recent stat or scouting data here to call him a finished product yet.
