steady long snapper who won’t show up on the stat sheet, but matters on every punt
Josh Elias is a specialist value add for Oklahoma State, handling the Cowboys’ punt long-snapping duties with documented reliability and no noted issues in game action, which is exactly what coaches want from a long snapper.[1] His edge is consistency under pressure rather than flash: he fills a low-margin role where clean operation, trust, and repetition matter more than raw numbers, making him a fit for teams that prioritize special-teams stability over upside volatility.[1]
