former Troy guard whose game profile was built on size, versatility, and steady all-around production
Marquel Bryant is a 6-foot-2 guard from Sarasota who joined Troy with a reputation for doing a little of everything, including a strong high school line of 6 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists on a 24-6 team in the 2019-20 season[1]. At Troy, his college stat line has been modest in limited action — 1.0 points, 0.0 rebounds, and 0.6 assists with 16.7% shooting — so the appeal is more about his multi-position feel, frame, and experience than raw box-score production[2][4][5]. If you want a guard who brings toughness, length, and connective play, that’s the lane; if you need a high-usage scorer, this is not that profile[1][2].
