Peyton Woodyard brings length, instincts, and real upside to Oregon’s secondary
Peyton Woodyard is a 6-foot-2, 207-pound junior DB for Oregon who already showed playmaking ability with 13 tackles and a 30-yard interception return in 2025 action, plus a tip-ball pick in August 2026 camp. He looks like a smart fit for a team that wants range and versatility on the back end: Oregon has used him as a backup safety/nickel piece, and reports suggest he’s trusted in multiple spots when the Ducks need depth. The differentiator is his combination of size, ball skills, and readiness—not just raw tools.
