High-upside Nevada edge with flashes, not yet a finished product
Breylon Garcia entered Nevada as a well-regarded 2019 recruit and still carries the “can’t-teach-that-frame” appeal at 6-3, 250, but his college impact has been limited by inconsistency and time away from the roster. In Nevada’s 2021 notes, he logged three tackles and 1.0 TFL in six games, and team coverage has repeatedly described him as a high-ceiling player with spring-game pop and real potential off the edge. If a staff wants length, burst, and development upside over instant production, Garcia is intriguing; if it needs a polished, every-down disruptor right now, he’s more projection than sure thing.
