productive, physical Hofstra forward with a steady inside game
In the 2016-17 season, Ty Greer gave Hofstra a reliable frontcourt presence: 5.6 points and 4.2 rebounds per game in 17.7 minutes, with 16 starts and a 39.9% field-goal mark. He looked best as a sturdy, blue-collar forward who can finish around the rim, crash the glass, and hold up in a rotation without needing the ball to be featured. The main question is upside and shooting consistency, but as a toughness-and-rebounding piece, he fit the Pride’s need for effort, size, and board work.
