Lamel Ages gives Tennessee State depth and upside in the defensive backfield
Lamel Ages is listed on Tennessee State’s 2026 football roster as a defensive back, which suggests he’s part of a secondary that carries real competition and depth for the Tigers[1][2]. Because the available sources don’t show detailed 2026 game stats or national rankings for him, the safest read is that Ages is still in the evaluation-and-earn-more-snaps stage rather than a proven headline-maker[1][2]. If your team wants a DB with room to grow, positional value, and a chance to develop into a physical, versatile piece, he’s worth tracking.
