Jalen Battle brings proven playmaking and disruptive backfield juice to Illinois State
Battle profiles as a difference-maker at linebacker because his game is built on impact plays, not just tackle counts: Illinois State lists a season line of 53 tackles, 3 interceptions, 2 sacks, 5 pass breakups, 1 forced fumble, and 2 fumble recoveries, which points to rare coverage-and-blitz versatility for the position. He looks like a fit for teams that want an aggressive, ball-hawking defender who can create chaos in space and near the line of scrimmage, though public results here are limited on recent season-to-season context and injury history.
