Tiji Paul brings veteran DB stability and playmaking juice to UIW
Tiji Paul is a seasoned UIW defensive back whose value shows up in both coverage and special teams: in the 2023 season, he logged 32 tackles and four pass breakups, and in 2022 he added an interception, including a 38-yard pick-six against Southern Illinois. At 5-foot-10 and 160 pounds, he profiles as a smart, experienced defender with enough instincts to find the ball and enough versatility to help in the return game. He looks like the kind of tough, reliable depth piece coaches love—steady, scrappy, and game-ready.
