Minnesota’s veteran 5-6 Swedish guard with Big Ten roots
Ebba Hemberg is a former Minnesota guard from Stockholm, listed at 5-6, who played for the Gophers in the 2000-01, 2001-02, and 2002-03 seasons and was still being recognized by the program as a letterwinner years later[1][4][6][7]. Her profile is the classic compact guard package: experienced, familiar with the program, and part of a Minnesota team that reached the NCAA Tournament second round in 2001-02[2]. For roster-fit questions, she reads as a steady backcourt piece with international seasoning rather than a flashy stat-sheet star[1][4].
