a Cal DB who carved out real value with toughness and disruption
Isaac Lapite’s Cal profile shows a compact, physical defensive back at 5-9, 190 who earned meaningful snaps and produced 11 tackles, 1.0 tackle for loss, and a pass breakup in the 2013 season over 10 games with three starts[1][3]. His differentiators are instincts, willingness to tackle, and versatility as a defensive back who could contribute without needing the spotlight[1][3]. The clean stat line is modest, but the bigger takeaway is a high-effort, team-first defensive piece who fit a rotation and added edge against the run[1][3].
