SDSU's 6-1, 215-lb RB Powerhouse with Elite Breakaway Speed and Unshakable Intensity
Marcus Stamps, San Diego State’s 6-1, 215-lb RB (Class: RS-JR, #26), delivered a 223-yard explosion in his 2024 opener and consistently ranks among the nation’s top breakaway runners. Beyond stats, his differentiator is elite physicality paired with relentless intensity—he absorbed brutal blind-side hits in back-to-back 2024 games without performance drop, showcasing rare mental toughness. Stamps played all 12 games as a sophomore, starting eight, proving durability. His 4.0-yard average (24 carries, 96 yards) reflects efficiency, but his 111-yard best game post-opener highlights big-play capability. With a 83.47 NatlRBCA rating and NIL potential, he’s a high-fit RB for teams needing a physical, game-breaking back who thrives under pressure.
