Emmanuel Toney brings veteran guard savvy and steady two-way value to Texas A&M-Corpus Christi
Emmanuel Toney’s appeal is his all-around, low-drama, high-IQ guard game: in the 2018-19 season he appeared in all 32 games, started 27, and logged 250 points, 110 rebounds, 110 assists, and 38 steals, showing he could stuff the stat sheet without needing the spotlight. He also led the Islanders in assists 15 times and was a reliable shot-maker in stretches, including a 16-point, three-3-pointer performance in one win and a 12-point, 7-rebound, 6-assist outing in another. If you want a composed, experienced connector who can organize offense and compete hard on both ends, he fits the bill.
