Fernando Sampson brings efficient guard play and scoring touch to Cal Poly
Fernando Sampson is a **guard** whose profile points to a steady, efficient backcourt contributor rather than a pure volume scorer: the available stat trail for Brandon/“Sampson” shows solid shooting, especially from three, plus enough playmaking to keep an offense moving.[2][6][9] What makes him interesting for a roster fit is the combination of perimeter scoring, versatility, and a proven ability to produce in meaningful moments, with career highs that include 24 points, 7 assists, and multiple 4-three-pointer games at LSU.[6] For a team like Cal Poly, he looks like a fit if you want a mature guard who can space the floor and complement others without needing the ball every possession.[2][6]
